Holiday Moments '06

While James enjoyed Christmas much more this year, he still was not completely aware of the situation. He was able to open his presents, but was quickly distracted by certain gifts, which left Daddy to open most of James' remaining gifts. That did not leave us with any cute pictures of James opening his presents, so instead here are some cute pics from over the Holidays...

Daddy's Helper

James is really in love with his Daddy. He loves to play with him and help him do everything. Here, James is helping Daddy wrap Mommy's Christmas Present.

And here, he is helping Daddy assemble it on Christmas Morning.

I Go Sv-wimming!

James at his first Swim Lesson

That's what James' favorite phrase has been all week, since Sunday when we told him that "In 2 Days" he was going swimming with mommy. We signed him up for Swim Lessons. He absolutely has been in love with the water, for all his life, but really since the summer. It took a good month before he stopped asking to go in the pool after our overnight stay on the Cape...Every time he saw a Pull-Up, he would ask to go swimming. Now, he can barely contain himself when you tell him he is going swimming. He jumps up and down and claps and says "YAY! I go sv-wimming!!!" And if you ask him what he did at his first lesson, he'll tell you "I had a yellow cup and a duck." He got to use the cup to pour water on his head, which he absolutely loved, and he got to throw the ducky and with Mommy holding him, learn how to kick his legs and move his arms to paddle to get the ducky so he could throw it again. He loved it!
