No Pic Here, Just News

Baby James did potty yesterday! It was actually his second time, but now I know he's on his way to being a Big Boy! His first time was Friday. He doesn't quite "get it" yet; he always sits on the potty before the bath. It's always the same. Sit on the potty. Say "All done!". Flush. Only this time he really did it, and didn't even know! Yay!

Easter Sunday 2006

For Easter this year, the Easter Bunny brought James a Magna Doodle. As you can see, it was a hit from the start. James plays with his Magna Doodle everyday, almost all day. He really has become quite adept at drawing circles. He draws them with great effort, connecting the ends perfectly.

James made fast buddies with Bart. He really liked petting him...as long as Grandma B. was petting Bart too!

Easter at Coffee

Although this is James' second year around for most holidays, they really are the first ones he has enjoyed. At our Friday Coffee Day, we had an Egg Hunt for the kids. James really got into running around and picking up his eggs!

I don't care what anyone says. Your 18 Month Birthday is cause for celebration. When else do you denote your age using a half-year? Never! So, James had a half birthday this year. Just an Ice Cream Cake at Grandpa & Grandma S.'s House. Grandpa S. made fun of Mommy for the idea...but he still ate the cake!

James likes to raid the fridge. He waits until you open the door, then makes a mad dash for the produce drawer to get an apple. He loves apples. Then when he's done in the firdge, he closes the door. Too cute!

James is playing with his Leap Frog Baby Game. He loves the shape sorting game (from Grandma & Grandpa S.). He also loves his Orange hat, which came with the Truck that Mommy and Daddy bought him.

Here are some pictures of James from his short stint at Daycare. The first two are from his First Day. Grandma S. bought him the Orange Coat so that he looked like a Big Boy for his First Day. Notice how happy he is...not. The last picture is from one the days in his first week. He spent most of his outside time plopped in that Tugboat. He just sat there with this look on his face that said to me: "I don't know why my mommy just left me here...what did I do wrong? When is she coming back? I want my mommy... :( "
